Reminiscent of the bed head designs at cottages on the shores of Lake Malawi. This structured design uses the open-weave of the Traditional Malawi chairs to give an air of warm tropical evenings experienced on the lakeshore, cicadas chirping, mosquito nets flowing in the breeze. 

Handmade by artisans on Lake Malawi's shores, with a timber frame and support work with a cane and bamboo weave that introduce beauty, texture and interest to any bedroom. Each bed head is constructed with 2 support legs to provide stability even on the largest of sizes. Choose exact size for bed base, or a design option is to choose oversized bedhead to stretch behind bedside tables.

Our beautiful pieces are made from natural fibres, so it's important to care for them correctly. Natural varnish can add a layer of protection.
